Karen Díaz Cisneros is an innovative visionary tech leader whose journey from immigrant to CEO in tech exemplifies determination and resilience.
A Journey of Resilience and Growth:
Originally from Venezuela, Karen left due to political and economic instability in 2016. After six years in Chile, she worked for a marketing company, earning only $200 a month. Karen´s journey led her to TodoVa, a technology company where she developed sales and marketing skills and managed technical teams. Despite challenges, including delivering orders personally and selling apps in unconventional locations, she gained valuable insights into customer needs.
After two years at TodoVa, Karen led a new division focused on AI and chatbots at a tech consulting firm.
Entrepreneurship and Vision:
Empowered by her experiences and newfound confidence, Karen founded BotOn, a SaaS B2B company automating customer interactions using AI. Her team, inspired by her vision and leadership, played a crucial role in turning her entrepreneurial dreams into reality.
BotOn Health aims to enhance healthcare outcomes through innovative technology solutions.
Expansion into the United States:
In July 2022, Karen expanded her company to the United States, establishing her business in Atlanta, Georgia. This move marked a new chapter, showcasing her adventurous and enterprising spirit.
Chief Strategy Officer at The Gen AI:
All of Karen´s journey has prepared her to take on the role of Chief Strategy Officer with The Gen AI in 2024, where she leverages her extensive experience to drive strategic initiatives and innovation in AI implementation.
Honors and Achievements:
Karen recently won first place in the Pitch Competition of HIMSS, sponsored by North Georgia Health System, solidifying her status as a trailblazer in health tech.
Education and Volunteering:
Karen holds a bachelor´s degree in Journalism and a Diploma in Digital Marketing. She is also an active member of the HIMSS Georgia Chapter´s Membership Committee, demonstrating her commitment to advancing healthcare.
